About Us
Adenium is a genus of flowering plants. It is native of Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula. There are many speeies in Adenium but adenium Arabicum and Adenium obesum are two main species developed by nurseries. Out of wich Adenium obesum is known as the Desert Rose. Adenium Obesum is grown as a houseplant in temperate regions. Adeniums are appreciated for their colourful flowers, but also for their unusual, Thick Caudex. Obesum means ”Fat” referring to the swollen trunk of this succulent plant. It branches naturally, creating an attractive Treelike Houseplant. Very easy to grow, very easy to care for, loves living in pots and does not mind being root bound, extremely beautiful and unusual, lots of vibrant and vivid floral displays.
Adeniums are drought – enduting and can survive for a couple of months or more without being watered as they are able to store nutrients and life giving water in their Caudex. Over flooding of the pot while watering will probably lead to rotting of the stem base and roots. Handle Adenium with care, its sap is Toxic. Keep it way from children and pets. A very good attribute about Adenium is that most insects don’t really have much interest in attaching them. We are very proud to be here to promote Adeniums and bring them to masses. Please give the Adenium a Home.
